This original work is made from recycled paper, rolled into spirals to give a three dimensional texture, unravelling to reveal a pink background starting to drip. It developed from experimenting with the textures paper spirals can produce, and how those textures can be deconstructed and made to 'unravel' This work is unframed, a box-style frame is recommended to protect the artwork from dirt and dust.

Hundreds of steel cubes were hand welded. These were taken across villages in the region of Toffia, Italy. People were invited to trade the steel cubes for something which they deemed to be of equal value. This relational aesthetic piece was exhibited for Vendi Eventi, 2008 and viewers were able to take steel cubes and replace them with something other. The piece itself posed questions of the value we place on inanimate objects and posited notions of memory, collection and sentiment. This image depicts the exhibition. Individual items from the exhibition are on sale as "lucky dip" conceptual art pieces. Each piece is labelled with the time and date it was donated and a code that describes the object.

Everyday we are bombarded by sound. Background noise is the ground of our perception, absolutely uninterrupted; it is our perennial sustenance, the element of the software of all our logic. Hearing is a model of understanding and a method for memory. These single minutes of silence are recorded fragments of time from innumerable places. As soon as the piece is realised the sounds no longer correspond to the time at all. They suffer a death, trapped in a past present, which can never be relived or realised, only relayed. This print depicts one of the 300 One Minute Silences. Each image is one-of-a-kind. To enquire any of the other images in the series please email amy@lostfoundandlovedagain.com
